Just when I thought the sharks were doing good and were on their way to a good playoff spot, they start playing like shit. they just lost 2 games in a row and the second to the worst team in the NHL, the st. lois blues.

^ I just came back from the game! Everyone was stunned after those early 3rd period goals. Those damn penalties killed the Sharks.

The NHL calls WAY too many penalties nowadays. The purpose of the new rules was to speed up the game, and this does nothing but disrupt the flow of the game. I went to the Sharks-Blues game last Friday and there were like 6 penalties called in the first 10 minutes of the game. They're way too strict with hooking and player interference. And I don't like how when there's a screen in front of the net, the defensemen can't hit the player in front, so now the defensement has to play in front of the foward. Plus, cross checks to the back was the cause of many fights, something that's lacking in the "new" NHL.

Sorry, I don't know anyone else who likes hockey..I had to vent.

Well the main purpose of the rule changes was to get more goals...so by not allowing the defensemen to play as freely, the offesne has an easier time to score goals...and a powerplay helps make the game more interesting too ...but vent away lol

go canucks..
You know it buddy.

Sharks were OK in Pre-Season then after that they started to tumble. Don't really see much coming from them this year although lots of underrated teams are proving different.

I'm sure there will be some great let downs as far as Playoffs go, it's one thing to be in the Playoffs, and actually Perform in the Playoffs. So, I'm interested to see how with season pans out.

Hockey is one of the greatest sports ever invented, If you weren't raised on Hockey, I feel sorry you were deprived of something so great.

Nucks all day.
