Anyone else notice that cartoon backpacks were really big for a while like last year an the year before that, but now they're jus played out an every little 'hyphy bandwagon' middle/highschooler got 1... Its kinda rediculous because the folkz that used to wear em have mostly stopped... I donno if its because they got tired of em, or got tired of everyone else wearin em so it wasnt even unique anymore...
I donno, I copt one back freshman year before anyone else really had em out here in Sac jus cuz I saw the trend comin from the V an shit an I was feelin it. Then when I wore one last year an saw that I was one of a few the first week or two, but after the first month of school it seemed like everyone had one, an lots of people jocked my same one's... I kinda dropped it... I look back an think it was always kinda stupid.... but whatever, trends fade...

Anybody still rock em? Thoughts?

It might just be me being older, but why anyone wear a backpack with a cartoon character on it? I got other shit to worry about then going out to a store and looking for a backpack a first grader would wear...

My one thought is this: What makes them highschooler bandwagoners and you not one? Because you bandwagoned off a style of shit that came form Vallejo before the others did?

i remember workin at the movie theater about 2 and a half years ago and seein young ass kids in the mall wear these backpacks. Kids would try and buy tickets for rated R movies and i just clowned them about the backpack. kids learned to stop wearin em at the mall after a while.

smokingoods-You do realize that there are prolly millions of other teens around my same age (13-18) doin the same shit... itz just what the style is/was... I was laughing at dude wearin a pink powder puff backpack... Shyyt when I look back, I can laugh at myself wearin my shit, so you cant really clown on me... I was aiming more towards the fact that such a 'stupid/childish trend' blew up so big that now hella folkz got em, an the people that wore em first are tired out with em LOL
