Got Vista right now for about 3 months now, haven't had a problem yet. I'm pretty sure you can trade it in for XP because I remember doing some research before buying it and read that at a few places.

Vista had, and still has, a fair share of compatibility issues with hardware. It also uses up 2X as much of your hardware resources. And even when you are fully stalked, VIsta 32-bit is ASS for speed. Even the 64-bit version isnt better than XP 32-bit speed wise.

the ONLY problem i have with vista is you cannot play GIf. images when you click on them you have to drag them into the browser, oh and it does take a lot of room, guess thats two things but other than that i dont see why every one is complaining.

Maybe its because i have a new computer though.

all of you that say you hate vista is your computer new or did you just try and upgrade?

im only on my second problem with vista..and its not even vista that is the culprit..FUCK CISCO SYSTEMS FOR NOT SUPPORTING 64-BIT OPERATING SYSTEMS.

For gifs just set the default viewer to your browser, I don't like how they took off active desktop so you can't set a gif as your background.

The only thing close to a problem i had was i had to install turbo tax in safe mode, from when it first came out because it was a little too ahead of itself, like playing a playstation game on a ps3, i dont know how true or accurate that is, but i also dont get how people get so pissed they want to kill bill gates, either you dont use it and have no room to bitch, or you should have researched what you did buy and have no room to bitch, i for one have had no problems

yup thats how i usually have it but then sometimes when i click on a jpeg image it also got switched to the browser as the default viewer.
