Ha hell no If you compare the stats alex smith makes jamarcus russel like peyton manning....
smith has played way more games then russel but he's still young and can become a good qb if he puts the time and dedication to become one but haven't seen it out of him yet

A line can only do so much, JR is dumb as a rock, and Alex Smith is too smart for his own good, the WRs, RBs and OCs also play a bigger role than the OL. A better OL but no other good tools = better rb play

I have no faith in $mith lol, nor do i have faith in Smith. The niners OL is built for power running now... Marvel Smith with Chilo Rachal can be a very very good right side.... (Think healthy jonas jennings/Larry Allen)
