The investigation into Sunday's shooting of a homeless man by Inglewood police is focusing in part on the tactics of the seven officers involved, who collectively fired more than 40 times at the man, a source close to the investigation said Tuesday.
The death of Eddie Felix Franco, 56, was the fourth fatal officer-involved shooting in Inglewood in four months. City officials have repeatedly declined to answer questions about what prompted the shooting, which occurred about five minutes after officers first confronted Franco. Officials have said he had a fake gun but not whether he brandished it at any point during the incident.
Investigators are looking at the possibility that the shooting was a case of "contagious fire" -- a phenomenon in which an officer opens fire after he hears other officers shooting and misinterprets the shots as being an attack against himself.
The source, who spoke to The Times on condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing, said officials are also trying to determine whether the officers were appropriately positioned to avoid firing on civilians.

i hate them because they just make shit up. they will see 4 of us in the park at night, and decide to drive their happy asses into the park and tell us to leave. and each time they tell us there is a different curfew for the park. so i know they are making shit up. and everytime i walk around by at night, they try to pull me over and take down my name and all that shit lol, i just walk away from them.
oh and one time, we got our house shot at, and we were outside, so we all start running naturally. lol, these dumb asses show up 1 minute after the shots are fired they had to have seen the car speeding off, but they come harass us cause were running and want to search the house, thinking that one of us shot each other, its like, are you really that fucking stupid

The only time I've ever needed them or any time I ever will need them is when I get into a traffic accident and I need that report for my insurance claim. And even then, I don't wanna deal wit they bullshit cuz they still on some dumbass shit while they're filling out their report.
For every other reason why somebody would normally call the pigs, I have no use for them. If a muthafucka broke into my home and had a gun and I called the pigs, I can guarantee they're gonna show up an hour later after either he or I am dead. You better be able to take care of that situation yourself, you don't have time to hope that the pigs are gonna come through and save you. I will say, I guess you would probably have to call em if somebody broke in and you killed their ass in your home. You're probably gonna want a police report with that too, I've never been in that situation tho, and hope I never do. Same with if you get robbed and you call the pigs, they're gonna take hella long to get there, be disrespectful to you maybe try to find something to take you in for, and then never follow up on the case. Again, you better be able to handle that situation by yourself as well.
As far as anything else goes, fuck the pigs hands down. Every time I've dealt with the police, it's always on some hands against the wall, lemme run your pockets, lift your shirt, what's this tattoo mean, what you doing here blah blah bullshit. And a couple of them times we been literally 10 feet from the front door of my homies pad. Other times it's on some "your vehicle fit the description of.." and that's why they pull us over. Shiet, one time I got pulled over in Pacific Grove over by Monterey with 3 homies in the car and the pigs straight up said "We have a lot of you Salinas gangbangers coming out here stealing cars from our community. What the fuck are y'all doing here" And I was actually headed to somebody I knows pad, them fucks was all about "you need to leave this neighborhood and if I see your car again tonight you're gonna be arrested"
so anyway, fuck the police.

I'm sorry, I'm sure not all of them can be this way, but I believe in my personal opinion that the majority are like I describe above. I'm sure there are few decent cops out there, but I think they are far and few majority wise.
The county I live in is corrupt. They didn't do shit to me, but I seen the shit they put my old man through and that shit is fucked up. Even his attorney was in on shit. Don't ever hire a county attorney, they're too close with other county officials and will work with the county officials to fuck you behind your back. Ya don't have to believe me, but I've seen it happen with my own two eyes. I've heard other stories from people who also have dealt with the county I live in, same old kind of shit.
I've heard too many unjust stories to believe justice is always served and not just from my county, but everywhere. Cops get away with way too much shit and that's unjust in itself.

Funny thing is, this description of yours pretty much sums up most street cats I grew up with. They lie and harass (making shit up is the same as lying). Why did they do this? Because they were all about makin' money for themselves to go buy pointless material shit. They were shady, they beat up, robbed, shot and stabbed innocent people because they needed some cash. False, the police are an arm of the state. They are there to enforce unjust laws and interpret other ones based on how THEY feel at the moment. What's suspicious to them, what seems like probable cause to them, they got all the power in the situation. The muhfuckas that's out there doing crooked shit to get by, they just learning by example. The example that was set by the state. The pigs gotta be held to a higher standard than the average citizens because of what the pigs represent. If the pigs came out and said we aint here to serve and protect, we here to oppress and keep y'all muhfuckas in your place with our racist laws and ways of enforcing these laws, then it'd be one thing. As far as the second part goes, I was saying that it's left to interpretation by the cop. So, every cop does go based off of his own point of view. Whether he thinks you're suspicious or the next man's suspicious. Whether he decides to stop somebody walking in this neighborhood or that neighborhood, they all do it. You can make the argument that some of them think they aint making these judgement calls based on race, or class, or whatever other reason, and maybe some of them aint.
Maybe some of them really try to look at things as objective as they can, but the laws and the criminal justice system in America is what they represent. They a part of something that's bigger than them, and for that reason they're all fucked in my opinion. I don't give a fuck if there's "nice" cops, or cops that are just "doing their job". I don't agree with the job, so fuck the employees is what I'm saying.

Yes, thats true. However, crime is a part of law. The law states that anyone committing a crime, will be punished. Committing a crime = breaking the law.

I agree, everyone sees things as they want to see them...as you noted, being subjective. However, there is a guideline of how to conduct yourself as a police officer...its probably a very large handbook given to trainees. It is up to the police officer to follow those guidelines, period.

Ok, so the system is racist and the cops hate suspicious looking people. So, about the racist system, who are they racist towards? 'Cause I'll tell you what, I've been yanked, harassed, held at gunpoint and all that shit without committing any kind of crime or doing anything wrong. I'm still here, and I'm still not saying fuck all cops. Oppression, well, I'm trying not to laugh right now. The 60's, the Civil Rights Movement...THAT was oppression. However, we got past that. Middle Eastern countries oppress their people, control what they do. I don't see that here pimp, and I'm everywhere. In most cases these days, a lot of the people are holding themselves down...not the cops. The cops HAVE to use their own judgment because nothing is etched in stone. i just got pulled over at the liquor store. i ended up getting 3 charges. fuckin found knives, bats, bb guns in my car..i had to dispute all that didnt get charges for it...kids all gawkin at me and shit..i was drunk that whole time..speeding, improper lane change and no insurance....i got insurance so its two....they let me go i bought a 40 put on messy marv hella loud almost hit a cop on the way leaving and skerted
