Bill Russell was a great player, no doubt about it... but would he be able to do what he back then, today? That's up for debate...
im talking about rings not who is the better player, not to mention he coached AND played for 2 of those rings. but its clear kobe is pretty much #2 all time, as much as it pains me to admit that. russell played in a different era at a different position for a better team. i think they won 9 straight at one time, that wouldnt happen in todays game, so comparing the 2 skill wise would be ridiculous but if were talkin number of rings, its a wrap! 11 > 4
