are you sure because i had to fill out a finance sheet telling them every single cent to my name and all the property i own and then the judge deemed me financially able to obtain a lawyer then the next fuckin court date i had same judge dick ass fuckin jac crawford was passin out public defenders like a fuckin free breakfast no one else had to fill out the form i did when i requested one i was and still am fuckin heated about the whole situation because of this i have lost everything but my freedom i paid 2500 to bail bond to get out and 5000 to a lawyer but the good part is that 5000 is flat fee not retaining so it wont go over that amount even if im in court for another year

but they CAN and DO send you a huge ass bill in the mail for "public attorney expenses"

i think the most they can make you pay is 500 per court appearance which can turn out to a big ass fuckin check

but ive never personally kept that much money in my bank account to the point where theyd make me pay for a lawyer.

^^^ i could tell somethin scandolous was goin on but this is my first time ever caught up so i am learnin as i go i actually feel better with a lawyer because they go really hard in slo for my crime and even tho they cant tie me back to the drugs they might go for conspiracy which in some cases is just as bad

you dont want a public defender if youre fighitng a case. if you dont have a case to fight, theres no reason to pay. any one can do that

No Matter What, You Can Not Be Denied To A Fair Trial Or Sumone To Represent You During That Period

if you are at the point where you are not exactly broke but make too much to qualify for a public defender. also after a certain amount of convictions for the same offense the public defender will not fight for your case.....like the 3rd dui for example, they won't take the case.

They Dropped All Felonies And The Strike Aswell

That's big. Once you have a strike, all your felonies become strikes.

Fucked Up Thing Is, The Police Report Said The 2 "Victims" Claimed I Had A Pistol That I Concealed In My Pocket, And No Matter How Hard I Fought My Lawyer Said It Was 2 Peoples Testimony Verse Mine, One Of A Criminal Deemed By The State Of California As A Violent Offender With A History Of Problems. They Even Brought Up Cases For Fights I Had Gotten Into In Another County And Tried To Basically Make The Circumstances Of My Case Seem Like I Had A Gun And Would Use It
