don't forget too I got tracks (not just one but several) with M-Dash, Savage Life, and Shame.....one thing I'm sure of, from reading internet message boards and talking to people on the streets is, there's a lot of misunderstanding between the Bay and LA that comes from lack of communication...Us LA folks, I admit we haven't reached out enough to the Bay (or Dago for that matter) but all you can do is try your best to be a part of the solution and not the problem. If we in SoCal can quit with the "LA-Centric" frame of mind and NorCal can open up a bit to those of us down here that are working to bring folks together (instead of just assuming that nobody down here has love for the Bay) then maybe we can kill all this ridiculous geographic bias shit...aint nothing separating us but a few hundred miles of freeway u feel me?
lets be honest do yall really give a fuck if la feel our shit or not most niggas in the bay dont listen to la shit niether so wats the difference when the bay wasnt makin uptempo shit niggas wasnt gettin no play in the streets or radio so wit out hyphy we would have to go back to just listening to hella down south shit
its always been like that...and itl prolly always stay like that.....slocal and norcal is like two different worlds....they mindstate is way different then ours up here. its a totaly different way of life between the north and south.
also lynch did a collabo wit mc.eight...spice1 and eight. but you can tell the different styles and shit on these albums. daz be all up on the bay too.

I dont think the rap world will ever respect our bay music how we went it to be respected. I just accept it for what it is and dig listening to some of the flyest shit ever recorded. Only opinion on music that matters is your own. As much as i would like to see some of our artists blow up and make more money than 50 cent, it just probably wont happen even though its obvious to most of us our heavy hitters are just 100000000x better. Just accept it for what it is, GREAT UNDERGROUND music. in my opinion some of the GREATEST music.
You're going to have a rough life if you can't grasp the concept of a difference in opinion. For the record. If you read my original post you'd notice that "fuck the bay" is what I've heard come out of a lot of mouths down here in L.A. I'm a huge supporter of both bay and sac music so read up on me before you go pullin' cards that don't exist.
Ultimately everybody has their own taste when it comes to the music they choose to listen to. There have been some nice north/south collabs and I'm sure there are more in the works. I agree with bay music being some of the greatest underground music. I just wanted to see what others think about some of the norcal/socal competition and rivalry.

You all are trippin. I moved from the Bay to SoCal in January and been to hella club parties (mostly in LA) and shit, they play a lot of bay shit and everyone gets down. Even on the radio they play E-40, Too Short, Keak the Sneak. One night I was driving from Ontario to Riverside (20min drive) and they played bay shit the whole time, it was like a chunk of time purely for bay music. It was either power 106 or 104.3
I was just at a party last thursday in and everyone gets down when they play Too Short, the DJ played 3 too short songs plus some E-40 that night. They do that in fuckin LA too. They play even more bay shit in Diego, which is tight, cuz diego is a better place to party then LA in my opinion.

You couldn't be more wrong about me, but in all honesty, you really need to take a good listen to yourself. We're on an internet music forum having grown folks talk about music that we all love. Try to stay on topic homie. You should try channeling your emotions and turning that anger into something positive. I was mad like you before, but that only got me locked up and an endless amount of debt and legal trouble.
