I usually don't buy albums without downloading and listening first, but I couldn't find this one online when i came out, but I bought it after hearing the "Let the Bass Go" track. Not dissapointed at the purchase and looking forward to the next solo album in 08.

Yeah Let the Bass Go, It is What It is were the ones I first heard. One Night Stand is the best song ever made about a one night stand. haha

Keep putting out quality shit mayne! Good music speaks for itself, sales don't mean shit...I mean when people can sell tons of records rapping about lip gloss and chicken noodle soup it just shows that feeble minded teenie boppers will buy anything. I definitely support you and your music, and you are one of the only bay rappers whos album i will actually buy. It seems like 90 percent of the stuff coming out of the bay is garbage right now because everybody is falling into the hyphy/thizz trap....just keep doing you and hopefully you will blow up someday, but if for some reason that doesn't happen at least you can know you were true to yourself.

The week your CD came out I went to my local mom and pop whos always got the new bay shit and said they didn't think they had it. I ended up findind it there later on the ground under their CD racks in boxes, never ended up buyin it cuz i didnt have money at the time..but i was pissed that it seemed like no one really paid any attention to it cuz I knew it would be heated, ive pretty much heard the whole album since and this thread reminds me to go buy it wen i get enuff $$

thats the truth.... big up to you balance ... it is a rough business and I wish you nothin but the best...

We are going thru the same thing with Automatic right now... i found 4-5 websites with his album up for d/l and they all had hundreds of d/l's which is cool because his name is out there and he is working on the group album with Goldie Gold, Ray Rydah, Nump and will continue to produce for all the bay / la artist.. (by the way we still need to hook up with ya on that there) but we do this for the love of music... but at the end of the day we all have expenses that we need to re-coup. just keep grinding...

I am looking forward to the collabo album that you just finished

Bal, thanks for putting this out there since everyone thinks that artists are filthy rich once they put out an album. Thanks for putting a real number on units since you and I both know damn well that when Bay artists get in Murderdog they lie their asses off on how many units they sell and give all these new dudes false hopes and dreams.

tha reason for 2008 is so i can finish it and make it tha best album i can.

hopefully tha unda dogs cd and my compilation can hold my fans over and build anticipation for my next album.

I like your approach and I respect your attitude! It's a grind and since you've been doing it for a while and still with it I give you a lot of props.

That said, your 1st album was cool... I picked it up at Amoeba in Hollywood after you got some good hype on this board and the beats were pretty knockin.

In all honesty I felt like you were making your album for the mainstream and you could have been a lil more lyrical with it (In a way it felt to me like you were just happy to be rhyming over some knocking beats, which is exactly the way I felt when I put my album out 3-4 years ago, and listening to your album reminded me alot of mine). Get your lyrical game up and really try to talk about your major experiences of the last few years and I think you could put together an amazing second album...

Glad you're making music for yourself!!!

I think on ya 2nd go around have that same mainstream appeal put step back to some of that wake-up show underground shit... I mean that track you did with Chase Infidente off that Dow Jones mix was crazy !
