safeway i hit up is coo. i havent used the whole meal deal free sandwich thing in years tho. There's always a soft spot in my heart 4 safeway. it was the only place i could roll up to @ 4/5am loaded n get some fresh baked donuts (still warm) n odwalla

Shopping at safeway is a good way to stay broke. Their food is so fucking overpriced. I used to work for a guy that had a food product export company. They'd make like cookies and shit and i don't know what else. This dude is rich from inheritance. He would never shop at safeway. He explained to me that safeway won't even buy a product from a vendor unless they could mark it up like 300%.
