Fuck payday loans

So a few weeks ago I wasnt sure I was gonna have money on time for rent, so I went to the payday loan website just too see what Id have to do. So I got approved (online) for a 500 dollar loan with 100 dollars of interest (yeah, wtf?). I didn't approve the loan, but somehow, it got approved anyway and I got an email about it the next day.

So I called right away to tell them I didnt want the loan. The fat bitch (yeah I know she was fat by the way she was talkin and breathin... I sensed multiple chins) told me it was cool and that once the 500 was put into my account, they would automatically take it back out. So Im like cool.

Get a phone call today from them askin when Im gonna pay my loan. Im like "the fuck", explain my situation, told em everything. And guess what? Nothing they can do about it! Yeah, THEY'RE fuckup and there's nothing THEY can do about it. So I gotta pay 100 dollars interest fee for a loan I didnt even want or need.

What kinda crooked as shit is that? fuck payday loans!

Call them back and ask how you can get a hold of the president of the company. They most likely won't let you get to him so then ask for the regional or office manager or whatever the highest up person you can get. If whoever you end up talking to still tries to fuck around, tell them you're going to contact the Better Business Bureau and all your local TV stations with your story.

They'll probably change their tune. If they don't, then make sure you actually do contact the BBB and all your local TV stations with your story.

yeah man.. and I just did that as a precautionary measure. I never really had serious intentions of using it cuz the 100 interest fee was a lot more than a late fee for my rent.

i tried to get a payday loan once. homie told me i have to give him a check stub...i was like.....people still use checks in 2008?

he was all yes, believe it or not

i mean why not get a checking card..and in the case of your employer direct deposit..i dont get it..i thought physical checks had been gone...i had to call my bank to even know the checking prefix..

im way too high throughout the course of a day to be filling in checks for everything i need

Not a bad idea.. just mentioning the words 'BBB' and 'complaint' to a business scares the shit out of them.

Im shocked everytime I see someone writing a check too, like "what the fuck is that old ass lady doing?" lol. When I signed up for my checking account they gave me like 4 boxes of checks, that was 4 years ago and I havent used one whole book yet. I got direct deposit too, but I still get a paystub in the mail, I just toss them, so it was a bitch to find one when it came time to get a loan for my truck.

Do you pay rent? My landlord doesn't take checking cards. I guess I could give her cash, but it's easier to just send her a check.

Rent is the only thing I use my checks for by the way. Like it was mentioned above, I'm still using the same box of checks I got years ago.

I don't have a problem with people using checks at the grocery store, but at least have that shit ready to go. You know you're going to Safeway, you know you're gonna use a check. Why not at least have the date, your signature and Safeway already filled out when you get to the checkout?
