Yup. It's a no-win situation...if you criticize an artist, you're automatically considered a "hater", but if you defend an artist, everyone says, "oh, you're on so-and-so's dick, yada yada yada..." But, hey...whaddaya gonna do?

PEACE!

There's truth in what everyone is saying but whats really... the world keeps spinning.

I got kinda annoyed too about recycled tracks but as a reason to hate... come on now, your favourite rapper's favourite rapper would probably pull the same move if he owned his own tracks and not the label. Sorry, I mean Shady/Aftermath lol.

Just read the damn track list and make your own mind up, if you sleep on JT point blank just because of that ol recycling bizness you would have missed one of the cleanest albums to drop in the bay in the past 5 years - Illegal Game with Mac Mall.

If you miss heat like that because dude has dropped recycled tracks on other albums so you not going to pay his releases no heed.. well then you're missing out and need to slap yourself... just my two cents.

1st of all, no one forced you to buy any of his albums so it is no ones fault but your own.

2nd JT calls himself a hustler, he brags about it and everything. To him, the rap game is a hustle and he does it better then anyone else. Just admit it, you got hustled.

I could see why people might be mad at the guy but cds are no different then anything you buy. If you dont test it out beforehand, you run the risk of being dissappointed. If you have a computer, you have the luxury of having sites like northern-ridaz, so you really cant blame anyone but yourself for buying a piece of shit

lastly. anyone that gets that worked up over not getting a shout out on a frickin song is a straight up idiot. plain and simple

lol cmon now playa maybe you didn't like the album but how you going to put it down to how much music I can get overseas? I peep everything that drops and I still feel that album is clean.

Since you mentioned it let me say I know I got more Bay music right here than you do. That's what's really.. overseas is nothin, there's a ways and a means to get any album, ya feel me.

And on that Illegal Game, that was solid production throughout. Peace Treaty was smooth and the cut with Goldie Gold was one of the Fed's best appearances on anyone elses album, slaps for days.

JT DIDNT START RECYCLING TILL ABOUT 2001 RIGHT???? I KNOW IN 2000 HE CAME OUT WITH A LOT OF GOOD ALBUMS, SOMETHING CRUCIAL, FAMILY BUSINESS, AND THE GAMBLAZ - GHETTO PLATINUM, AND ALSO I THINK BAY AREA BOSSES, AFTER THAT IT SEEMED TO GO REALLY DOWN HILL WITH RECYCLYING AND GARBAGE ASS SHIT HE WAS PUTTEN OUT LIKE BOTH THEM JT AND DAZ ALBUMS, AND THAT YUK AND THE GAMBLAZ ALBUM, I MEAN THERE WERE A FEW GOOD TRACKS ON EACH BUT IT SEEMED LIKE AT ONE POINT GET LOW WAS MORE OF A JOKE THEN A QUALITY RECORD LABEL LIKE IT USED TO BE ALL UP TILL THE END OF 2000.

THERE HAVE BEEN GOOD ALBUMS RELEASED IN THE PAST COUPLE YEARS ON GET LOW THOUGH, LIKE JT AND THE GAMBLAZ, THE GAMBLAZ- THUNDEROUS MUSIC, AND THE DEVO ALBUM WHEN HE WAS GOING BY AUTHENTIC.

To each his own I guess. How would you compare Illegal Game to Rookie of the Year, The Jack Artist, Thug Deluxe? (which I consider the best Bay releases in a while)
