they cant run for shit with that o line, which is part of the problem. You cant run you gotta throw 70% of the time, defense knows that.

I don't know what they are going to do if Cutler misses games. Never even heard of these back ups, Collins? Dude last started in 1997. Hanie....who??! Might as well put Hester as your QB and just run the wild cat the entire game lol
is that the tod collins that backed up for VY over at the titans? he isn't too shabby.

cutler isn't bad you gotta give him time. Yeah he's going to make mistakes from time to time that's just the way he is that will never change like a brett farve, but you give him time and he makes plays. His QB rating over the first 3 weeks was very good but this o-line is terrible.

Seriously. People need to stop putting this all on Cutler. Last year he got rid of the ball faster to avoid the sack, but threw a crapload of picks.
Now he's trying hard not to turn the ball over and taking sacks.

If no one's open and 2 guys are bearing down in you while you're in the pocket, what exactly do you expect him to do

Collins to start in place of Cutler against Panthers

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Veteran quarterback Todd Collins will start Sunday’s road game against the Carolina Panthers in place of Jay Cutler, the Bears announced Thursday.

Cutler exited last Sunday night’s loss to the Giants at halftime with a concussion. After practicing on a limited basis Wednesday, Cutler met with Bears doctors and an independent consultant.

Both parties recommended that Cutler, who has made steady progress, continue to work out on a limited basis through the end of the week and sit out Sunday’s game before being re-evaluated again early next week.

Check ChicagoBears.com later for expanded coverage.

he just throws it up for grabs when hes pressured. He should've had like 5 ints against the packers

That had to be the sloppiest win
but once again a win is a win, and we learned to run the ball for once
this has to be the worst 4-1 team in the league right now

forte finally had a big running game.

I don't think they are one of the worst 4-1 teams if they had cutler in there it would have been prettier. I mean fucking tod collins what was that his first start since 1997?? 6-16 4 INT's lol.

Defense looked good though.

anyways, the good news is packers lost and I heard Rodgers suffered a concussion at the end of the game, so knowing how touchy the NFL is about that he may be out next week.

All chicago needs to do is keep winning the games they are supposed to win and they can pull ahead with a big lead in first place in the division.
