if you runnin a mac you need to upgrade to Mac OS X Leopard, all u need is Time Machine and a external drive. that shit makes automatic daily back ups, love it

Yeah Vista is fucking GARBAGE. When I buy a new computer soon, Imma make sure I get it with Windows XP or downgrade. I never had any problems with XP.

I bought a WD My Book 320 GBs external HD a while back and back up all my shit to it. Now you can get like 500GBs or more for cheap. I'll probably buy another external HD when I get my new comp.

I got the WD 320gb too....I use it when I DJ gigs for use with Serato and it's been dependable as all hell...No complaints.

The only "downside" to downgrading to XP is that you gotta hunt down the drivers for the particular computer which can ESPECIALLY be a bitch if it's made for Vista. I got mine workin fine but there are still some glitches with little things because the drivers weren't made for my model.

^ I'm not saying a mac won't crash, but comparred to pc reliablility its way better. Spyware and Virus can't latch on to a mac like a pc ect ( unless you run XP on your mac). Plus it always stays the same operating speed.



I haven't backup my current project come to think of it.

i got all my shit saved they put it on my external, i just always lag on backing everything up. the power supply failed on me and renders the whole comp useless. i was running XP i aint fuckin with no vista. but they replacing it with a new e-machines comp. so i just gotta wait to get approved for my new comp. still tho fuck best buy! how the fuck does this shit happen 4 times in less than a year?

It also helps to use the Firefox internet browser instead of Internet Explorer. There's many benefits. One of them is the popup blocking capability. You no longer have to see all those frustrating popup windows since the browser will take cake of them. You also don’t need an alternative popup blocker program.

Firefox has a higher level of security. Spyware and adware programs cannot automatically install in the Firefox browser.

who writes viruses and shit for macs anyways? not gonna affect mac users as much as PC. Thats why it wont "latch" on.
