KRS ONE never went platinum and many people regaurd him as a lyrical genius... just because an artist never goes platinum, doesn't really mean shit. The only thing it might mean is that the artist didn't wanna sell out. But just like Zero said... lots of artists have gone platinum... but whether or not an artist goes platinum is not a good method to judge their talent by. More often than not, artists wind up making only a few good songs and then what is the rest of their album good for?
