Then you are working on an album. I just hope you live up to the standards you place upon others. I always see you on here trying to tear others down almost to boost up yourself (IMO). I have heard your shit and you have a nice steady MIXTAPE flow...kinda like, well alot like Lil Wayne. Maybe you look up to him. As far as getting the beats maybe you can hit all of the Bay artist that actually put out songs that people have grown to know and respect and ask them if you can use thier real songs so you can make mixtape songs out of them. I'm sure they all have myspace accounts so you can ask if you can borrow their music.
now im hating for pointin out tha obvious? I didnt say anything bad about the song so how am i tearing them down? yall "puttin 10 on tha 5 and doin hella much" lol

none of these rappers are on my mind like yall think they are...i just dont like the same music as yall and i let it be known...and as far as the mixtape thing goes, its exercise to me and im lookin alot healthier than most of yall think

imma beast

It alright. So-so. It's no different than the rest of the shit we're hearing. Nothing that stands out. I say that because they always make it seem like they're music is so different or they're bringing a different aspect to the game. But, there not. It's all lack luster and sub par and it's not just them. It's the majority of artists in the game.

Rap sucks right now.Period.

"It doesn't come from the heart." Right. . .That's real talk.

And, that's one of the differences between an "Artist" and a real "rapper". They're "Artists". I take nothing from them or any other artist or rapper. But, it nothing that moves me.

Music is suppose to inspire some kind of emotion. My face is still expression-less after listening to that song. It's expression-less after hearing "Do your Thizzle." It's expression-less after hearing "Holla at Ya boy". It's expression-less after hearing "I got chips". It's expression-less after hearing a lot of shit.

Again rap sucks. Period.

I feel what you're saying, but at the same time, there's different types of music for different types of situations. The average rap consumer just wants to dance, so you can't really blame people in the rap "business" to make bs tracks with nice beats for singles. I think its weak if their entire album is full of songs like that, but with quinn for example, you know he's gonna have sogs that "inspire some kind of emotion". Point is, there's plenty of good music out there (most of it underground so you gotta do some digging), so quit bitching about it (not directed at you specifically, but people all people who complain too much).

Good track... Frontline hardly ever dissapoints. They always got problems wit the industry and i cant blame them at all, its in a sorry state right now. Niggas will make any kinda bullshit if they think itll sale.

If u really listen to Lock's first verse, it seems like he gettin at Lil Wayne. I wouldnt be suprised seeing as how much Bay niggas slap his shit out here.

LOL...I'm reading all the post from the "rapper- types" on this thread and you wounder why they might say people are hatin on them. And the funny thing is the main two doin the detective work on weather they have heart felt emotions in their songs and are acting like this is a CSI investigation are from Richmond. That is truly sad. It's like they need to do this, they need to do that...yall sound like niggas on the couch during Monday Night Football yellin at the TV like, "If I was that nigga I would have ran that for a touchdown"...but you are not that nigga. You are you. If niggas would work on being themselves instead of soundin like a nigga trying to bring up the ghost of 2pac or be the new version of Lil Wayne which is a spin off of the old version of Jay-Z then maybe you can find something to do with your rap careers. Just my two cents though. It really doesn't matter. I'm just a fan of the music.

i want you to think about what you just said about the frontline and rap the next time you put your clothes on in the morning, cause i bet you owe a lot of what you wear, and how you act, and how you talk, and what you do on weekends or just any damn night to this rap game that sucks so bad you're on a bay area rap forum complainin...

To the people talking shit, I’m sure they would like to Thank you, like always its fuel to the fire. The Frontline don’t have shit to prove to any of you. They are not only coming out with a new album but they are doing alot within the music/business industry, and community that you all know nothing about, because they don’t have to show off for fools. Folks will see what’s going on soon. And the album, will be a nice breath of fresh air compared to this stupid ass shit that’s been plaguing the radio....lol

Thank you. I appreciate you referring to what we "Money Motivated Entertainment" do as bringing up the ghost of Pac. Shouts out to you too.

First off, I don't know what the fuck a "rapper-type" is. I don't even know what the fuck you mean. I don't even know how to respond to that.

Secondly, "investigative" work. Nigga, be serious. I listen to what a nigga posts on the board. If I like it, I like it. If not, then, I don't. Simple. Personally, I don't looking for songs to listen too by any "artist". I don't even like rap homie. That's what you don't know.

Furthermore, I can't do nothing but, do me homie. That's why I'm authentic. That's why I'm felt. That's why I'm real. That's why you relate my music to Pac homie.

That's why the majority of niggas in Richmond is upset that I'm not on radio and the rest of the Bay who I've embraced with my presence wonder why I'm not on radio homie.

I don't say what I say and not follow through with my own show and prove. My lil' homie uses this board name. I come on here and posts songs with it. Other than that I'm not even on here pimp. But, just for the record. . . Let it reflect that I've given you. . .

1. Black Legacy
2. Trapped in a Paradox
3. In the Bay
4. Put it in the Air
5. 4 Bar cue
6. Side with me
7. Smutha somethin'
8. Walnuts
9. Go girl
10. Richmond Niggas etc, etc.

That's TEN hot songs and only a couple of those will be on the album. So, you name a nigga whose given away major label quality work which is just as hot. Right? My thoughts exactly. I'm in no shortage of real talk homie.

Furthermore, I personally hold any nigga coming out of Richmond to exceptionally high standards. Our starting line is further back. We've always been the bastard child of the Bay. So, when a nigga rep it he must come correct and display no chinks in his armor. Rap is a contact sport homie. If a nigga needs to get his strength and conditioning up then, that's what I'll let niggas know.

Everybody always say support this and support that. Look regardless of where ANYBODY is from is errelevant to me. Just because your from Richmond doesn't mean shit to me. I support what's real regardless of where your from.

The more "real" and "hot" shit that goes into the industry the more our socio-economic status and how we get down with each other will begin to change and that's "The Truth" nigga.

Best Regards,
V.Jones

after all of these post the truth finally comes out...your the rapper. I have read your post and you pose like your a fan or supporter and your really the artist LMAO. Real classy big time move. Good luck with the album. Here is two by the ways...1.Just because somebody says your trying to bring up the ghost of PAC, doesn't mean you accomplished that goal. 2. If you this "real nigga" that "don't like rap" then why are you rapping and going out of your way to post on a RAP FORUM? That kinda makes no since to me....And congratz on the 4bar song, it was kinda cool. Is that one making the album?
