have you noticed that "horror movies" havnt been hardcore since the late 80's(and even in the 80's films HAD cut alot of scenes, so death scenes wernt to "bloody") there wont be any more of the "scary" movies, they will all be watered down to pg 13 or a soft core R. now a days "cannibalism,satanism or hardcore death" are a no no. like i said before im a horror fan but those days are long gone bc studios cant push the limit without gettin a NC-17 rating in 09 and in the future nc-17 wont get any play so its super softcore R for all.
Actually thats not true . I would have to say these new horror movies post Saw are the goriest movies ever made BUT thats what I think is what ruined these horror movies. Now I'm a big fan of some gore but the shit is played out. Every new horror film is just some gory shock value bullshit that is no different than any of the Saw movies. Its played out and Dull. People don't want to pay money for the same stupid concept. Horror films don't need excessive blood to be good.
You don't see alot of truly scary horror films anymore. The last horror flick that freaked me out in the slightest was Audition. That movie was just fucked up. It seems like the Far East are the only ones who put out good horror films anymore.

My family was watching it yesterday here at home and from glances here and there, it seemed retro to the original. Cheesy dialogue, sex scenes etc etc...I'll watch it in a bit, but from what I read in here, so far. I'm guessing watching it with a open mind and expecting exactly what it is...a remake with no spectacular up to date enhancements.
WHAT THE FUCK! what was everyone expecting a fucking remake to friday the 13th that didnt follow its old roots of all and i mean all the other movies... get the fuck outta here... the people hateing on this movie were ganna hate from the jump, i could see if they didnt put certain things in this movie you would be crying how they changed the style from the original friday the 13ths... im sick of these fucked up reviews and all you pissy diaper wearing bitchs complaining about this shit... what more could we ask for in a friday the 13th remake... his momma got her head chopped off exactly like the old ones... the plot sucked in every single fucking friday the 13th come on now... it was always a bunch of horny fucking teenage kids going out to the woods geting drunk and high... they stuck to what made friday the 13th so bad ass... jason had some nice killings, and if you didnt think sowhat were you expecting??? i thought this movie was flawless from the start to end, he even came out the water like the in the OG's at the end... i mean all the fairy fuck boys in this thread must of never watched a old friday the 13th cuzz i thought this was top notch remake...
Naw Im good!! Now as a Halloween fan I was like what the fuck is this shit!! Zombie be on some otha shit mane!! I aint a fan of his!! I have like most remakes but that is the worst one in my opinion! I mean as far as the horror flicks!! My top remakes in the horror category are:

FOR ME BEING THAT I SEEN EACH FRANCHISE A MILLION TIMES, I LOOK FOR MORE OF THE STORY AND THE KILLS TO BE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS (WHY WOULD'NT THEY BE? THE TECHNOLOGY AND CREATIVITY IS THERE)
DONT GET ME WRONG I LIKED IT AND AM GONNA BUY THE DVD WHEN IT COMES OUT. AND THO HALLOWEEN HAD HOLES IN IT I LIKE HOW THEY ADDED MORE TO THE STORY AND TEXAS CHAINSAW WAS STRAIGHT RAW.
LEATHERFACE MAKES JASON LOOK LIKE NICE. THAT BOW AND ARROW KILL WAS BULLSHIT. SO WAS THAT FIRST DUDE WITH THE GLASSES. BUT I ENJOYED IT NOE THE LESS.
