Lynnwood also has high rates of burglary, roughly 50% higher than the national average.[11] According to the Lynnwood Police Department, in 2014, an a felony was committed every 3 hours, a theft occurred approximately every 4 hours, and a vehicular theft was reported roughly every 2 days. The Lynnwood Police Department has also reported a 33% Year-over-year increase in Drug-related arrests between 2013 and 2014. During that time period Methamphetamine seizures have also increased 142%.[12]
