Pretty sure the car he started with was about as old as you could get and it was in no way nice. Like it wasn't falling apart, or gross, or anything but it was definitely a commuter car that had seen a lot of miles.

I was talking to the Kone dude fixing one of our escalators awhile back and he was down in the platform part up top and was kinda pointing out and showing me how all the shit works. Was pretty cool. Asked him if he's seen some gnarly shit and he said a few digits a year, mostly toes, sometimes fingers, almost always kids.

We had this huge woman in a motorized scooter accidently reverse, like literally a foot, instead of going forward and she hit the wall so hard, and cause she was so fat, somehow caused the elevator to sink down past the first floor (which luckily she was on and not the 3rd floor which is probably actually really about 6-7 stories high) and she couldn't get out so the fire department had to come hoist her out with something that looked like they should have on the side of a rescue helicopter. I wasn't there for that but we watched it on the security cameras it was all pretty amusing.

Another time some dumbass was trying to pry the doors open while the elevator was moving for whatever reason and they slammed shut on like four of his fingers and broke them and this caused the elevator to stop mid floor and he was stuck with his broken fingers in the door for like 20-30 minutes before the fire department could get him out and I'm gonna say he deserved that. From what I understand Regal made him pay for the repairs too lol

This one dummy that used to live here got into the elevator drunk with some of his friends, like 15ppl,and they started jumping and broke it. They drank 2 fifths while trapped for two hours he ended up paying $2,500 in total. He also got drunk once and broke this vase in a common area on camera and they sued him for $9,000 and won. Dude was a dumbass like 19 yrs old
