Actually by then it's too late from what I have read. It helps yeah of course but once a hangover kicks in it's going to run it's course no matter what you do. Although some things do help it like I just said.

pedialyte and/or gatorade makes that "TIME" much less

your body soaks electrolytes very fast, hence the reason why gatorade is used by athletes DURING games and pedialyte is used by fighters the moment after they step off the scales after huge dehydrating weight cuts

Gatorade is no match for the hangovers I get sometimes.

I drink coconut juice which helps some but nothing is a "cure" for one once they set in.

Coconut juice also has more electrolytes than Gatorade.
