i do insurance so just some advice
you should be getting obviously a check to rebuild if you choose but for your personal property and loss of use (which is to cover bills while house is getting rebuilt.)
not sure what company you have but usually the good ones give you 50% of the personal property right away
if yours doesn't start making an inventory list of everything you lost with values to submit for reimbursement
and loss of use should be a good chunk of change to cover hotel or wherever you live in the mean time
