I was watching that movie with one of my friends and his hippie mom and she gasped out loud at that scene and nearly started crying
We laughed at it later on when she wasnt around, mostly at how absurdly mean it was. I think at one point in the movie I said something like "how come in these WW2 movies Jews are always depicted like pathetic rats... just hiding and scavenging crumbs and barely surviving... that's no way to live I'd rather die" and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm some kind of Nazi now

Slow and steady and you'll get to where you want to be. Just remember it's not a race; there's no 'finish line' because you'll never really be done. It's a lifestyle change and a life long thing. More like a life long marathon
