Weird seeing that place like that, was only 6 years ago when I left and it was a great neighborhood full of people.

The United States has had bases all over Germany since the 40's. Still have a bunch of bases there to this day. The Army decided to close a few of the bases down back in 2012, the one I was stationed at in Mannheim was one of the ones closed down.
