i never really liked catfish... or tilapia either they both taste like dirt and mud to me

It depends on the size and where they are caught. Catfish over a certain size will literally eat mud if they are too hungry or lazy to look for something else so you're right on that. I rarely ate catfish there but the rest was a southern buffet that was legit. Tilapia should have very little taste. If it tastes like dirt, I can't call it.
