And I know it is hard for you to accept and understand, but most rap artists in the bay fuck up a good music career by having one foot in the music game and the other in the streets.

Whether it is by hanging on the corner, associating with known knuckleheads or doing some stupid street shit, bay artists always manage to flush themselves down the drain.

Some ignorant people might consider this "keeping it real" or "Being gangsta" but in all honesty its sad.

If you are going to have your hood niggas around you and give them opportunities to blossom into something nice then it is your responsibility to keep them in check with leaving the bullshit alone because it can jeopardize your career/life. If you can't do that then you shouldn't have them around you and If you get caught up in a shoot out, driving w/ a pistol, dope etc etc. Then that is your fault. As for Entrapment...

And as for "If your a snitch go hang yourself". What is a genuine Indication of an Individual being a snitch because they know the rules of the game better than most. It's about being smart and making moves.

But as far as what Ispeak said, it couldn't be more on point...from the ground up. I used to do FREE shows up here until rappers' entourages would fuck it up, not only for me, but for them...then they would have the nerve to ask me when the next one was. I was at 40's show in Santa Rosa last Sat night...every non-rappin dude in the place had to be on stage ruining time slots for the guys that SHOULD be up there...I know a dozen local rappers who have lost their careers due to poor choices of associates, it's too bad cuz there is waaaaaay too much talent out here
