VALLEJO, Ca. (AP) - A central Vallejo man faces charges for three separate incidents involving police in a span of three hours. Vallejo police said 39-year-old Brian Zaragoza was charged with theft of services after allegedly refusing to pay a $69 cab fare around 11 a.m. About an hour later he was charged with public drunkenness after police said he was found lying on a road near Magazine St.
Another hour after that, authorities said Zaragoza called 911 to request police assistance. Investigators said he was cited for reporting a medical emergency without good cause because he told officers he needed them to fill a oxycontin prescription.
Zaragoza is facing a misdemeanor charge and a pair of summary offenses and is currently wanted by police after failing to appear in court. Anyone with information on this suspect is encouraged to contact Vallejo Police at (707) 648-4321.
