We informed you about this force to be reckoned with, The Product, not too long ago. The Geto Boy is doing more than just putting his stamp on this crew, as he is a member of the group himself. Young Malice, Willie Hen, and Scarface are The Product! This January they are out to prove they are three bosses from different regions doing it One Hunnid. What is "one hunnid" you ask? "100 percent, all real. That's how we sign off on the phone. When they figure out what we sayin then they'll know what we mean." adds Willie Hen, the San Francisco-bred, third member of the group. "No shaking our laffy taffy on this one. We got some nice shit though. That good rider music, that good thug, street music." To add to the pimpish style that Willie Hen brings to the table, we have a young guy by the name of Young Malice, bringing that Mississippi style to the table. "The Product album is dope boy fresh, bra. You got something for the dealers, something for the 9 to 5 people. You got something for the older crowd, something for the younger crowd. We all grown men, but my audience is a little bit on the lower end, Hen got his audience right there where he at, and Face audience done grew with him over the years anyway so its gonna be joining 3 different audiences." adds Young Malice about the album. "This shit right here is gonna be a franchise fam. When it ain't me and Hen no more, it might be my son and his son. We gonna keep it bloodline."
So how did Face come across two unique and talented artists from such distant areas? Willie Hen speaks on it: "Tone capone who is my producer and homie, we hooked up and been working on an album. He played one of my songs for Face. He did a few songs for Scarface such as Mary Jane and Smile with 2Pac. Tone Capone did I Got 5 On It, Keep it On The Real. He got bay area classics he did. Tone was playing some of my cuts on the line for Face. Face just sent for me, he wanted me to come down and get down on a soundtrack he was working on for an independent film. He brought a few dudes that he knew down, just to see how we sounded together for the soundtrack. Out of like eight dudes he really took a liking to me and my other dude Young Malice."
That brings us to Young Malice's story of stardom. "I ran into face in Jackson, Mississipi. Dude was promoting The Fix. niggas was at the club chillin, doin what niggas do and getting drunk. [Face] finished his show up and he was like 'I'm gonna sign somebody tonight, the hottest nigga come outside.' I just knew that was me. I knew I was the hottest nigga in my city. So a couple niggas went before me and when it was my time, I went said some shit and he was like 'man come to the bar with me.' We go to the bar and get some drinks, dude shows me the covers of the magazines and shit and he's like 'I'mma get you right there my nigga.' Niggas need to stop trying to rape a nigga for they talent and pay niggas for what they do. Pay nando for what he do! Pay the people what they deserve for what the fuck they do. I gotta make that a statement in this interview cause thats just way overlooked fam."
