I turned off the gas to my heater months ago and copped an electric heater from my neighborhood hardware store, and my PG&E bill has been way cool since. I'm just passing along some game for yall that are going to be hurting when the next PG&E bill comes, cause it's gonna get ugly this winter. Good luck yall.

How do you heat your water for showers and shit?

I live in a small apartment complex, and we split the water heater bill...it's never expensive...and we always have hot water.

BTW I didn't turn off the gas to our house, just the gas to the heater in the house, it cut costs dramatically.
