so if you have a player that goes over 1,000 yards for teh season on the next to last game, but then gets minus yards and goes below 1,000 yards in his last game, do they still say he went over the 1,000 yard mark???, or do they give the player an asterisk next to his yardage??

im only asking cuz technically he did go over the 1,000 yard mark for the season.

also, does anyone know if this has happened in football to a player???

post sig,, since my 1st amendments rights are being violted by the mods.

If you wish to fight for the cause tell the mods to reactivate my sigs.

Whatever the total is when the clock says 0:00 in the 4th Q (or OT) of the last game of the regular season, is that player's total for the year, period.
yeah, this is the bottom line answer.

the 1000 yard mark is a standard milestone, but for your question. the minus yards and plus yards are in happening from yard 0 to yard 1000, so it doesn't make much sense to consider it controversial just because someone hits 1000.
