um i get paid for tech support, im not going to come on here helping everyone out on my off time doing it for free.

the comment about getting a mac becuase u had a problem with flash is like saying i need to sell my car and get a truck because I cant figure out how to open the trunk.

I don't know why MySpace and some of the other sites are trying to force users to upgrade to Flash player 9. Its still in beta and Flash 9 is still in alpha. MySpace claims its more secure since it closes some security holes but I don't buy it. Flash 9 won't be out untill 4 quarter '06 at the earliest and more likely 1-2 quarter '07.
I guess when the final is released it means an increased player penetration and it'll be easier for us Flash developers to deploy Flash 9 but still, I don't believe companies should push untested, possibly less stable releases on users. Maybe Adobe has some sort of backend deal with all the websites using flash for their video player?
