man warner/reprise didnt promote 40's album at all. dey barely pushed "wake it up" i barely heard it on radio or saw it on 106 etc... i had a lil feeling this wouldve happened. plus i think stores in certain areas under ordered this album. shouldve done close to 100k or more lik mgrc.

dam its ugly for 40 but he didnt have a big single like last time. he should do a video for "hustle" that might blow


as far as quinn - he spending 200k on tv and he only sold 1000 records? damn its super ugly.

my teacher told me a joke about music these days: want to know how to make a little money in the music industry? start with a lot of money. LOL sad but true. rip to music sales minus a few artists

Just outta curiosity, how do you know and what exactly is Quinn spending 200k on? Are you talking on promotion and marketing?

like i said b4 who cares how many they sell, if you like the album , thats all theat matters. if you dont, thats coo too. 40 is goin to keep it pushing. tha artist that sold more than 40 , had way more promotional power, they should have sold more. e40 is still new to sum parts of the world compared to a luda of kanye.

quinn said so himself in the interview he did on the siccness. he said hes putting 200 racks of his own money into tv. videos, commercials and shit

im not from the bay but from cali but have been to the bay alot they support there artis they love 40 quinn ect. and the fans dont be one race every one is love there music then why the record seals be so low. stop being cheap support these artis. and stop bootleging puting shit in the game

just support good music. support artists like quinn regardless...dont let numbers change your opinion of someone's music. soundscans dont mean a thing these days anyways.

forty grew dreads case dismissed! I was as an artist myself one of E-40 biggest fans i didn't like ghetto report card but i gave water a pass though i harshly criticized theCD but this one there is no excuse a dude with so much lyrical heat to come with this garbage shows he is tryna cater to a crowd that he is to old to cater to. Let them youngsta do they shit he is suppose to be the innovator E-40 I'm disappointed and depressed in Northern Cali Music period and this takes the cake. Shit and he did get big promo i saw him everywhere and on myspace as whats hot to buy but he is not and the world don't relate to that garbage backyard beats and what not from the 80's its the past to the rest of music fans and they are no longer getting the future of music from cali and thats sad!!!
