Only bay area mufukas be feelin keak. East Coast fag boys aint never gon be feelin him. why, cuz they hardly feel anybody from anywhere but NY. even when they do feel someone or sumthing, they just steal their style and try to make it their own. Fuk tha East Coast with only a few exceptions. my opinion, The Team, Messy, and Quinn got the best shots. but as far as longevity with tha bay bein back, I cant call it. Cus everything in Rap Music is a Fad now thanks to mainstream groupie ass i only like rap cuz i think it makes me look cool muthafukas.
Federation, Keak...its hard for me to predict the future because I already feel a lot of folk's music, that other regions may just not understand...TEAM and Balance got that nationwide appeal...and lets not forget about J.Valentine on the RnB side of things, that new song he got out "Bad Behavior" is a slapper IMO.
Keak could be but u cant say he got exposure from the video because they bleep out half the fuckin words he said mainly cause they arent sure what hes sayin. But if everyone makes videos that's the best way to get exposure especially now since My block: the bay Mistah F.A.B need's to make a video real quick like new oakland or kicked out the club cause i think everybody will feel that. but ya boy yes, quinn i don't know but hell yeah would make sure he did, messy fuck ya, and definetley the team or at least clyde carson cause he got the voice and the rhymes. yukmouth probably never will cause all he does is make diss records or talk shit hopefully million dollar mouthpiece won't be the same
I woulda said Keak but if he didn't blow up with superhyphy Im afraid he may have missed his chance... lets face it, he didnt com his best on either tracks he did on 40s CD. People outside cali fukkin hate him.
I hoped Quinn would have too, but it just doesn't seem like he is gonna do the numbers. It woulda be nice if he had been on 40's cd and his came out right after instead of a month before.
Ya Boy got chances now that he with Game, but has anybody on BWS ever put out a CD?
I think the East Coast could dig cats like Balance, Jacka, Turf Talk, but there isn't really any buzz about them at all outside of Cali. I mean Balance's CD drops tuesday and does anybody outside CA know that?
I would say the Team got the best shot with it because they got a universal flow and definite talent.
Fabby might be a little tooo Hyphy for the masses, but hey, that might be what gets him on a major with the right push...
I gotta say I am really impressed with the way BME/Lil jon pushed 40s album. If it does as well as we all think it will Jon should just set up shop in the Bay (BME West??) and he would make HELLA dollerz.
