aight, let me start off by saying.. if you are just getting into DE, this isnt the CD you should start with, you kinda have to already be a fanatic (like me) to really enjoy this CD. heres how it breaks down..
1. Arrival (intro) - This is a dark ass intro... i usually woulndt review an intro, cuzz i odnt like half them. the DE makes intro's that sound sooo nice going into song 2 tho. This intro has Lynch talking, kinda in like a fairy tale way, about the Big Black Bat, who is DE. Tight shit.. the thunder sounds hurt my ears on loud volume tho. for an intro i give it 8/10
2. Watching My Life Go- wow, what more could i say about this? First off, beat is incredible. Best DE production to date, no question. The verses are just tight as fuck, DE sounds sick on this. This is my personal fav track on the album. 10/10
3. Crackafunction - this song is dedicated to E40 and "The Homie.. B-Legit the Savvy, B-Legit the SAvvy...'' Not sure why, but the song itself is a very solid song. Beat, Chorus, everything sounded cool. This song will trip you out if you are real faded. Cool track. 8/10
4. Jabberwalky- This track is another tight one. The beat has like a guitar, not really rap in the verses tho, the chorus is like a chant like some of his older shit. I like it, not my fav tho. 7/10
5. Sunz of Fahrenheit - this is at a show, little skit of everyone yellin DAMN THAT DE.. has a beat mixed in wit it. sounds tight. 8/10
6. Psychotic Woman- damn, this song is real tight. He does more talking in the verses, but the chorus, well if you even call it that, is like 10 bars, and its like a monotone kinda chant. Sounds real sick. 10/10
7. Eddie D was Right- one of two songs with no vocals on it. cool beat.. i usually skip through it cuz i like to hear DE rap. but deff. a cool beat. 7/10
8. Fahrenheit What They Bang Tho- this song is real tight too. cool beat, cool vocals... cool everything. Chorus could use something.. all it says is Fahrenhiet wut they Bang Tho.. cool song tho for sure. 8/10
9. I am Not Welcome Here - this cut is just sick. the intro to it is at the end of song 8. This song is just to awesome.. pretty much like a me against the world theme.. another one of my favs. 10/10
10. Hot Baf and a Minty One- this song is real solid. sick DE verses.. great beat. only beat on the CD that wasnt produced by DE. this one was phonk beta's well doing... tight track for sure. lot of peoples fav's.. one of mine too. 9/10
11. Prelude- just a beat.. gets you ready for the next song i guess.. pretty cool shit. 8/10
12. Unforgiven - DAMMMNNN... the DE did it with this shit.. its a combination of like all his tracks pretty much. This shit is like on a diff level. for those of you that got FU.. RoboDE is on this track. Used all diff types of robot voices.. even spit a verse on it. nice for sure. 10/10
13. Watchin for the Rollas - cool ass track. chorus is classic DE.. "i got a itty bitty recordddd - watchin for hte rollas" that type of shit.. cool verses.. every once and awhile it goes 'there they are again..' real cool song. 9/10
14. The Bully Car - snippetz from Instrumania.. cool shit.. sounds like a live band tho... not really rap beats. has a lil DE outro wit lynch too. cool shit 7/10.
final thoughts: to me.. its best DE CD yet. i really cant get enough of this CD. if you like the DE.. you like this CD. real nice, worth the wait.
