For Immediate Release: February 6, 2008
Tech N9ne continues to brand himself as rap’s hardest touring artist. In March, Tech N9ne and platinum recording artist Paul Wall will kick off their co-headlining Fire And Ice 2008 Tour. The outing opens March 28 at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, Colorado, and concludes May 31 at the Event Center in Casper, Wyoming. Below is the complete itinerary for the Fire And Ice Tour 2008
Tech N9ne is Kansas City’s undisputed rap king. He has SoundScanned more than 800,000 units independently and his first collaborative album, Tech N9ne Collabos Misery Loves Kompany, debuted as the No. 3 Independent album in the country upon its release in 2007.
Paul Wall’s resume is equally impressive. The Texas rapper was crucial in bringing the Houston rap movement -- and grills -- to the mainstream in 2005. His debut national album, 2005’s The Peoples Champ, was certified platinum and established Paul Wall as a legitimate rap superstar.
Ill Bill, the leader of the now-defunct Non Phixion and a current member of La Coka Nostra, is one of the most respected New York-based independent rappers. His Strange Music debut album, The Hour Of Reprisal, arrives in stores June 17.
Prior to the Fire And Ice Tour 2008, Tech N9ne will make his first appearance at the prestigious South By Southwest conference.
He will also be putting the finishing touches on his forthcoming album, Killer. The collection’s clever album cover pays homage to Michael Jackson’s iconic Thriller album cover. With Killer, Tech N9ne will SoundScan his 1 millionth album independently.
