I made a thread about this but oh well...game is tight! I think the fighting is a huge improvement over the first one. Especially now that you can grab and hold your opponent as well as block and move and punch while moving forward/back.

The cut scenes are also dope and the graphics of the fighters are much better!

The training I think is better on career mode and it’s nice that you can fight in a higher or lower weight class.

The fighter’s statistics are much more accurate as well. For example, if you decide your fighter will be a power boxer, you cannot build your speed to 100%. This is a big improvement because on the first one you could create a huge yoked out boxer who’s strong as hell and also as quick as a middle weight.

A couple things seem the same or possibly worse. For example, the fight venues are nothing special and it seems like the graphics for these venues are not as good as the first. But, I suspect that because the actual character graphics are better, they had to loose some of the graphics for the venues.

The music is also fucking horrible and there are less songs then the first. This isn’t a big deal since I just turn off the music anyways.

Creating a boxer seems better too, except I don’t think there are enough hair styles to choose from.

Overall, it’s an improvement from the first, which says a lot considering Fight Night is the best overall boxing game ever created.
