^^^real talk. rick rock gots slaps for sure, but the 1st cd needed some goddamn variation on there. i realize they made it big on tha party/hyphy sound, but my favorite tracks on the album were the ones where they strayed from that sound. glad to see they're broadening their horizons n whatnot....FLATLANDS BIAAATCH

yea, when rick came out to nyc last month he went to a meeting at shady. he was there over an hour and played him the new federation record as well as the new kinsmoke record. the head of A&R loved it and bobbed his head the whole time. they got a great sound system up at shady so it was awesome listening to ricks shit on full blast. this is the second time rick met with shady, but so far it looks like ruthless records wants him the most. they made a great offer to rick and the federation, but hes weighing his options. if i was a major label i would sign him in a second. i think the federation is the most talented group in the rap game.
It's good to see Ruthless Records is still tring to be a factor in the game.

I think think that its gettin soon to where respect is gonna come back to tha bay...we got big shit comin and i think that wit tha exposure of 40 and the Federation the bay will get respect....Cuz with those albums out people gonna start lookin as Messy Marvs whos got Lil Jon on his shit, and Keaks Kunta Kinte and the Team who always got fire....dayum i can't wait till all this shit comes out...
