"but i don't see pricesdeclining too much maybe a $1 or $1.50"

That is a very good and very true statement, even though it is sad. Alot artists aren't helping either when they pay $1 for the Cd itself to get pressed, get 5,000 flyers for $169 and 1000 18"x24" posters for $650 and then do consignment and ask for $8-$10 from the Store Manager.

Saeed over at Rasputin Music is doing the right thing by asking the artists to sell to him cheaper and then he can mark the cd's low and send the savings on to the Retail Consumer.

It think that Nor Cal Entertainment has the chance to really make some HUGE changes in how things are done within the Independent Rap "BUSINESS" (it is a business), and I hope that they get the support that they need and that when they do distribute Artists or even Labels Entire Catalogs these people get behind the project and do the Ground Work of PROMOTIONS.

Good Luck Homies!

It's all about good music at a good price and being able to deliver consistantly and then also showing the people that you are trying to sell that you are behinfd your project. I'm sorry to burst anyones bubble but you gotta be willing to put your money where your moth is sometimes. It's not all about the money but it is about the music and the consumer. The money will come if you do your job as a label.
