I agree, but I'd add MD or BD to the old list as well, and add COLA to the new one...

Some of the beats I've heard on albums by Skunt were pretty tight too, like on the Red Door comp...D-Sane has more slumps tho.

Street Level has a wealth of talent, and probably one of the deepest rosters in the town. But I gotta go with C.O.L.A., he spits some devasting shit on every track.........

i think the fact that there is an honest debate over who, on tha SLR camp, is better is a testiment to the ear of D-Sane, dude got an ear for talent and beatz.....before the Syko-Sykotherapy album, i had never listend to a NW album besidez Mix-A-Lot, and now i cant listen to much of anything else but albumz from the NW.........my hatz off 2 you D



oh yeah, dont forget to listen to Reaper Radio!!! lol

I'd have to go with Notes.. not only can he spit, he's good people.. COLA and Crytical too.. its a toss up between the three of them for me...

Yea skunt can make some savage beats. Be tight if Syko was still wit SLR, it'd be Syke, Skunt, and D making the tightest beats.

I'd have to say D-Sane b/c he's the guy running the operation and making the beats

However purely lyracists, my favorites are C.O.L.A. (amazing lyracist god damn), Crytical and Skuntdunanna w/ special mention of 151 if he is considered an SLR artist.

OLD SLR roster- Madd Dogg, J-Dubb, Byrdie... toss up between those three

New SLE Roster- i used to not like this doods style but hes been gassin lately... notes dood has improved a ton since HPL IMO.. hes on his way

Im gonna go with D-sane.....he is the man that makes everybody sound tight or sound better then they did before they hit his studio.......we all know D brings the best out of each artist he works with....
