what u dont seem to realize is that every song on mtv or b.e.t top 10 countdown doesnt really represent where theyre from. kanyes music doesnt represent chicago's style of music, shit half of 50's music doesnt sound like it comes from south side queens. theyre smart buisness men cuz they make music that entertains the majority of hip hop fans, why...cuz once u make it in the industry it becomes a job and not a hustle, and if u can get one artist like a kafani bring attention to the bay like 40 did then thats where u as a unsigned artist have to step your game up and make quality music the could catch the ears of major label or two...e-40's last album was a perfect example of that, ask fab, carson, and keak

There's been 5 bay artists on 106th and park the past what? 2 years? 40 the biggest and didnt make it past the 7 spot. You can't really think this trash will when 40 didn't, Big Rich was not heard from ever again after his 1 play on there. So this shit will not go anywhere.

Kanye actually does represent one style of Chicago Music, He got dope beats and most Chi artist have gotten beats from him, from Thug shit to back pack shit like common. 50 has better beats than anything Kafani could ever get his hands on, and his shit is better than most bay shit even as garbage as he has become. No new bay artist will ever put out an album as good as GRODT. Period. Yall can clown 50 all you want but his shit is better than 99% of the music out here right now.
