U wot? You mean generators and all that stuff? It's under the power section when your in work bench mode in a settlement. Shit gets pretty advanced, I've seen some crazy shit people are building with dozens of generators and power lines going all over the place. Meanwhile I figured out how to power a light bulb in my shack thinking I'm a genius.

You just need the components/ingredients like anything else you craft that you can pick up everywhere picking up junk. Every piece of garbage has its purpose and can be broken down (the game breaks it down for u when u craft). You can also mark the missing ingredients/components so that it shows up when scavenging, a reminder that you need that shit. So when your scavenging you'll see a toaster for example and from that toaster you will get steel and a circuit board, etc.

Finally ventured out and stopped messing around with my settlement. This game is fun as hell. Feral Ghouls are no joke this time around. In fact everything has been been beasted up, even mole rats. I love the radioactive storms, looks/sounds amazing. I really don't understand the complaints about the graphics, it can be a beautiful game at times with incredible detail.
I changed my pip boy color to white, which for me looks better as a flashlight when you're in dark places, things are a lot more clear.

So here is a way to generate a lot of currancy on a regular basis at your settlement by building some industrial water pumps:
"Every day or two the citizens will put surplus crops and purified water into your workshop(walk up to it and hit r, then go to aid and you'll see it if it has any)
This is quite a bit of water that should sell for around 3,000 caps. Not a bad paycheck for spending a day out in the Wasteland."
"Every 24 hours they refresh to have new caps, so the time cycle is usually around 2 or 3 days to sell all of the water I'm producing with this many merchants.
If you sell the water to your merchants you will also git a good bit of caps from taxes."

The graphics on my game were kind of lacking, but I googled how to fix the invisible locks and it had to do with changing the resolution for my computer monitor. Now the graphics are better (I'm using a mod too, it enhances it slightly but not much), also my world map works now without me having to disable the controller. I got some bitch named piper falling me around, hopefully I get to smash.
spent 3 hours just on the settlement in Sanctuary.....a bit overwhelming at first

Haha same here. I haven't even made it to Diamond City yet and that's like the second quest.
Made some pretty decent guns so far. The Gun Nut perks are a must if you want the really cool gun mods. And science for energy weapons (I only have one laser pistol and that crank rifle you get early on).
