No... But depending on character traits you increase (intelligence, agility, etc) you can use different weapons and respond to npc's differently. So basically, every time you play you can be a different bad-ass. Think Mass Effect, only more Mad Max and less Star Trek. You can probably find a download of the first two somewhere.
The 3rd, from what I understand is only going to be 1 player. It's made by the same people who made Oblivion, which is why this game is probably going to be fucking awesome.

Is the format the same or is it in a third person view? I remember shooting up the porn studio cos the only job they were gona give me was a fluffer! And after i made my wife do it they only paid $5! i shot up those hoes and directors like "take this money shot bitches!" lol.
The only bad thing about number two is that you start with a spear and have to wait a while to be able to steal or buy a gun. Im def getting number 3 though.

Damn i was bout to cop Fallout Brotherhood of Steel.. Glad i didnt.. And i got Fall Out 2 comin to my house sometime soon.. 
I might cop Fallout 1 too.. Defantly gonna cop Fallout 3 tho.. I jus wanna play the first ones before i get my hands on #3 so i can get the most out of it.

I got the xbox mag and shit talks about fallout 3, it says its mainly a first person, wide open game and you get to do what you want. The game actually starts with the begenning of the world, of sorts: your own birth, in a private hospital deep within the radiation-free fallout shelter known as vault 101. The screen goes from dark to light, and you can press the A button to cry. When the doctor asks if its a boy or girl respond by choosing gender. The doctor turns out to be dad and he mentions the Gene Projector - a futuristic device that will let him see what the child will look like when its older. Its a clever way to let you choose your in game appearance, but theirs an interesting reverse twist to it: the choices you make for your characters look will be reflected in that of your father. You go on with other ages until you turn 19, you'll finally kickstart the game's tale in real time.
This game is gonna be dope not a typical Rpg, its gonna be filled with gore and you have to find peaces of guns to put together to make it usefull, this shit is gonna be huge. It would be a lot less fun without the level of gore, the dark humor of talking to an old lady who's really nice to you, and then you blow her head off, put her head on a counter, and pretend to talk to her lol. This shit comes out fall im coppin

The creators of Fall out are creative as fuck, i didnt believe the kinda shit i could do and the scenaros i came across in Fall out 1&2. Can you change your race this time? the only one you could before was tactics.
I hope they keep in the pop culture refs, im sy=ure they can throw a matrix or i am robot on in there. Im sure i ran across a star trek shuttle in Fallout 2 somewhere before.
@ Kodogg Fallout 1 is just as good as number 2 just not as long but since the game doent end till you want it to that dont really matter. I played 2 beofre 1 and it dont really affect anything since the game engine is basicly the same and the storys are seperate just set after each other by a few decades.

I aint never played 1 or 2 but I think ill just skip since it starts at the beginning of birth. In the mag it dont say anything about race but im sure when you change the appearance you can change the color of the skin or somethin. It says this game is like a post-apocalyptic oblivion but with guns in all the best ways.
