usually u can tell when you put them on- the elastic on the sleeves and how they feel and look at the bottom. Most importantly the stitching on the tags and logos.

if you can just buy a real one its well worth it, if not check on craigslist for a bootleg one ($50-$75) so you can see it in person and atleast see if you like it.
