I was searching for an episode of Lost and came across Expedition Africa. It's an 8 part reality show that aired on History channel.

If you're at all interested in Africa or explorers, you may enjoy this.

Here's a short description from Wikipedia:
"The series follows four modern day explorers — a navigator, a wildlife expert, a survivalist, and a journalist — as they substantially retrace H.M. Stanley's famed expedition to find Dr. David Livingstone."

I thought it was fairly entertaining. There's still some of the canned drama and hyped up tension between characters that you'd find in any reality show, but it doesn't take too much away from the show.

Over all I'd give this show a 6.5. It's not great or mind-blowing, but it is fun to watch. The footage and the actual trek that these folks make are pretty impressive. Also the Masai warriors that come along are cool as fuck.
