This isn't a story of fabricated glorified tall tales. I am just putting this out since I think it is interesting.

The other day I went a bbq with my old lady with her coworkers when we got there I saw "rise and fall of the NF" I was outraged when I saw it. Now the thing is one of the coworkers daughters is going to college and is doing a report on Gang lifestyles. So I guess she ordered it as research. The lady didn't want it and put it in box to donate. you see my old lady took it upon herself to have a garage sale at their work to raise money and also to use my truck as a vehicle to transport the basura. Out of bad judgement I picked it up and took it.

Now let me say this book is a bunch of crap. First off Gratton is a bitch and told the story that made him seem like a revolutionary hero that let the ganga when he noticed greed was a big factor. que desmadre. truth is he is a leva tramp who was a soldado that felt uncomfortable with the heat that the lifestyle brought and jumped ship. I'll give more thoughts later, if this is a bannable thread, despensa.

So is this shit some kind of autobiography? I thought it was about all Nortenos when I first heard about this book.

well its like it starts off as history then it goes to grattons beginnings then back to prison history then back to him. Along the way it starts speaking of murders that occured and it tells in a way that describes the murderers with names and all. Half the book follows him from his street days to his prison days, then goes on and on about how is ratting out.

I THINK THE STUPIDEST THING IS THAT THIS FOOL (GRATTON) CONVINCED THE JURA HE DIDN'T MURDER ANYONE EVER. I MEAN THE WHOLE BEGINNING IS ABOUT "BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT" AND STRESSING THE YOU HAVE TO 'SPILL THE BLOOD OF AN ENEMY TO ENTER" BUT THEN WHEN IT COMES TO HOW HE GOT IN THE NF, IT SAYS HE GOT IN WITHOUT KILLING ANYONE BY LUCK. TO ME THE BOOK IS BULLSHIT, I THINK IT WOULD BE GOOD READING FOR A SQUARE, THAT DOESN'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT THIS SHIT.

IN 1980, as NF’s new leadership began to take shape an NF lieutenant named Flaco from Fresno, who had chosen to side with Sosa, was much sought after. He was considered a primary target, not only because of his status in the organization but because he was close friends with Sosa. Since Flaco was a long-time member who had portrayed himself as dedicated to ** and its principles, most of **’s remaining members who didn’t side with Sosa thought he wanted to return and function amongst the rank-and-file of **’s new leadership

The new leadership offered Flaco the opportunity to reenter the gang under one condition, that he hit Sosa. Flaco refused, which in turn made him, in the eyes of the leaders, that much more of a threat to the gang’s safety and security. Within a week of his refusal, **’s new leaders decided to have him hit, which would make the statement that the ** wasn’t going to allow Sosa, or any of those who sided with him, off the hook.

Another high-ranking ** member, Robert “Crakers” Viniola, also from Fresno was ordered to hit Flaco. He, too, refused and, instead of hitting Flaco, Crakers was overheard warning him that he was in danger of being hit. It was said that Crakers chose his homeboy over his ** obligations. It didn’t take long before a willing member hit Crakers.

Crackers, along with Flaco, started their own gang. The new prison gang was made by and for Latino inmates from Fresno and eventually became known as the F-14ers, who didn’t side with anyone but their homeboys from Fresno. F-14ers are the sworn enemies of the **.

On Sunday February 18, 1990 at approximately 1436 hours, correctional officer R. Alsup observed inmate Gratton E-12048, swing his right hand, striking inmate Johnson D-38142, in the lower back on the SHU exercise yard #2 ….It was determined after the incident that inmate Johnson had sustained a superficial puncture wound to his lower right back and two scratches on his left back. The puncture wound had initially thought to have been a small scratch until a weapon was found on the yard. Inmate Johnson was re-examined and determined to have received a puncture-type wound.

With his attack with a weapon on Johnson, Gratton proved his willingness to spill enemy blood, but he was charged with a felony and given a district attorney referral to determine if the courts would prosecute this new charge. He was transferred to a far more restricted housing unit, also known as “Bed Rock” where inmates are single celled and allowed limited privileges. He was housed next to and introduced to, Fidel “Boxer” DeLaRiva from Selma, an NF member who took Gratton’s prison education one step further. DeLaRiva sponsored Gratton’s membership into ** and had him placed on a six-month probation to further his ** schooling. Gratton was given a copy of the **’s revised objectives.

SUPPOSEDLY THIS IS HOW HE GOT IN, BY GIVING A SMALL WOUND TO AN ENEMY. THAT’S TOTAL BULLSHIT, HOW THE HELL YOU GONNA GET MADE BY SCRATCHING SOMEONE.

what happened was Sosa was in an internal power struggle with another NF member. Flaco sided with Sosa during this struggle. Once the struggle was settled Sosa was on the losing side. They wanted sosa dead and normally they would want Flaco dead, but since he was a long time member and didn't necessarly cross them, the leaders decided to let him leave if he killed Sosa.

Flaco (from Fresno) refused.
so they asked Crakers (from Fresno) to kill Flaco.
Crakers refused and basically went to Flaco and said they were gonna kill him and they both started a treaty to protect people from Fresno. F-14 now took the meaning Fresno before 14.

Again this is a glorified story they make it seem like they started the whole F-14 to show defiance, which is not true. There are some truths to this story, but for the book's purposes they dramatized it a little more.

Gratton informed Rubalcaba that he had just received a letter from one of his homeboys in Modesto. The homeboy, who had always looked up to Gratton, wrote him from the streets, and the contents of the letter basically let Gratton know what was going on in the free world and who was where and what they were doing. A newspaper article from the modesto bee wa included, which read in part:

“three people were arrested within minutes of a drive-by shooting in Modesto Saturday that wounded two.

Arrested were the driver Amador Hernandez III, 22, Salvador Andrade, 20, and Micheal Linnenbringer, 19 all of Modesto….

After reading the article, Gratton let Rubalcaba read it. Gratton then explained the intricate details and let him know that the article pertained to two different Modesto norteno street gangs, the West Side Boyz and the Four Korners Gang.

Ageter reading this article, Rulbacalba was visibly upset. Gratton explained that the shooter (I left out a second article in the book, it didn’t have any names, but a second one is shown) was none other than Enrique “Rica” Balvan, the unidentified juvinile victim in the las article. The new victims, Danny Lopez and Steven J. Dedrick, were alleged associates of the West side Boyz. Rubalcaba quickly put two and two together. Although there were many other areas of concern, behind the wlls and on the streets, he was very pissed off that nortenos were killing nortenos. ………………………………………………………………………………………………
THEN IT GETS BORING ON HOW GRATTON LEAVES PRISON. IT GOES TO HOW HE GETS CRANK SELLS IT MAKES SOME MONEY AND HAS A QUINCINERA FOR HIS GIRL. I’LL START FROM THERE.

By the end of December 1997, Gratton was on a roll. He had established a self-supporting drug operation, a regimental bank and a functioning crew. The next phase of the Zapatista’s game plan was to buy into a legitimate business. Rubalcaba was said to have been aware of Gratton’s progress and allegedly wanted him to invest. Gratton affiliated with Sir dyno, gangster rap artist, and owner of Darkroom Studios, a production company in Tracy. The two decided to combine their resources and establish another recording studio named North Star Records, which would be used as a ** front to unite nortenos, launder money and buid the Darkroom label. Gratton decided to invest in North Star label………………

The Cd GUN wa about to become a reality. The next step was to recruit a wide variety of northern California’s most notorious underground gangster rap artists into the studio to put their talents on was. Fourteen different rappers were selected, fourteen tracks cut, and Gratton narrated the introuduction. After spending over a month and a hlf in and out the studio and producing enough songs to compile an album, Gratton called on Make Tracks sudios to do the masterings, Promotional X did the printing.
