^^^because people who saw the game are still alive today and talked about it after kobe's performance...because i dont recall seeing anyone hating on chamberlain or remembering him as a ballhog and not a great player. And if the game is a blowout, how is it better that he didn't pass? Kobe had to score for his team to win...

2 different eras. Nowadays, people just hate to hate...

Nowadays people are just jealous and they hate. They look for a reason to knock anybody even if they just did something incredible. Give the man his props. He scored 81 points all by himself. The Pacers scored (as a team) 66 points this evening against the Cavs. A couple teams last night couldn't break 80. What Kobe did was amazing. Leave it at that. To nitpick and say he's a ball hog is just petty because #1 We all know he's a ball hog and #2 They won the fucking game.
If you wanna get on Kobe for being a ballhog, talk about a game he had about a month or so ago where he shot 9-33 and had 0 assists.
Fuckin jealous sons of bitches, I'll tell ya.... Even Vince Carter said something today about Kobe being "selfish" and not setting a good example for the younger generation... VINCE CARTER SAID THIS!!!! lol

Wilt was a center....took high percentage shots and goto the foul line A LOT.
Kobe is a jump shooter....taking lesser percentage shots.
Any coach would love to see their post man put up 60 shots a game.
On the other hand most coaches would not like to see their shooting guard jack up 60 shots in a game.
I do believe though that, 100 points from a center is less than impressive than 80 from a shooting guard.
