I dont understand why ya'll care so much. yes 90% of the shit is weak as fuck, but who are we to tell someone how to spend their money and make their money? If you don't like somebody, then just don't buy it. there might be someone else who thinks they are tight no matter how weak you think they are. and even if no one likes them, then they will either attempt to make better music or just quit. it aint really hurtin anyone else if a lot of cats are coming weak. it is the same with every genre of music everywhere in the world. there are hundreds of rock bands in the bay that weak and will never make anything of themselves in the music business. Rap is no different. just ignore the weak shit
What the fuck is wrong wit you? Evereybody everyhwhere wants to be a rapper not just the Bay. Do you think that the Bay is the only place wit a underground rap scene on earth? I hope not because the fact is that its more weak rappers than good rappers everywhere you go on earth. People are always tryin to harp on some shit that doesn't matter and will never change all across the nation. I went to school in ATL for 4 years and I heard some of the the worst music I've heard so far in my life but im not gonna say that its just them wit weak rappers cuz i know its like that everywwhere. Its just life get over it. Why you think high school football teams have 53 players yet only 11 start on offense and 11 on defense and most of them go both ways? Its because anybody has the right to be on the team but only the best players will start. Its like that in the rap game too. There are a millions rappers in this country but only the best will shine whether it be mainstream or underground. So once again please get it through your heads that the Bay aint the only place wit wack rappers, the shit is everywhere.
