tha album will not be released this year. They still have a lot of work to do and it would be insane to think that it will be ready in 2006. Sorry but tha truth hurts sometimes. I just want tha Kaliko album to drop and the Kutt Mixtape. And I'm waiting on BG Bulletwound to drop. Tech's EverReady album will Never-B-Ready.

You seem to know alot for someone who really doesn't know...How do YOU know how much work is left on the album?? If the album is not released this year it will be due to there not being a release slot open, not because the album is not finished..It cracks me up how many dumbasses that really don't know shit think they know all of Strange's business....

i asked tech in our hotel after the show in anderson,CA so he told me this on may 27th. he said about 4 more songs and and em and lynch song.. and that he already has the beat and everything ready for the em and lynch song.

I am gonna go out on a limb and risk sounding really dumb, but what is a "release slot"? I thought you could put out an album whenever you want to... unless this has to do with another record label... hmmmmm....

From my understanding, most record companies like to release material at the beginning of a quarter. Jan-Mar being the first quarter, Apr-Jun being the second and so on.

Now I have no idea what the thinking is behind the release, as I have not talked to anyone but Jose in the last 5 months. But I'm sure that securing this major distribution deal is the key component with the ever pending release date.

I spoke to Jose on wednesday or thursday of last week and he confirmed that October is the target "slot" if you will.

All this "tech or krizz said this" talk is weightless. Roberto speaks to the people making the decisions more than anyone on this board. So respect his opinion and statements.

Im talking major promotion, get video and radio play, and something special for the fans that have waited for this album every day since AP dropped

Im talking a very nice cover/something unique/collectable...Tool's new cd is a good example but not the best

Great album/book art as well as plenty of photos and possibly lyrics/stories ect...

I would like 2 full audio disc, 1 for the album, one with a few tracks that wouldnt be on either ER or ISMs with songs from all other Strange Music talent...a sample cd if you will

In addition I think we could expect another DVD

these are just my wishes but I think that if tech did all of that then most of the loyal tech fans here would be happy

No offense GX, but I don't feel like tech owes me anything. If the delay on the album was because he had a major label deal in the works, good for him. Get the money. Funny thing about the music industry - most artists get the big paycheck long after they've earned it. Tech's record deal is payback for Anghellic and not just for everready. I'll even live with some more pop-ish songs to see him succeed. The cat has more talent in his middle pinky than 1/2 the garbage on the radio last year.

Get you some tech. (like Kutt said, though, keep doin that kansas city shit).

I just heard on hot 103 in kc that tech has signed a deal. and that he is gearing up for an overseas tour. jt quick or w/e said it should be released in a couple months with the new deal.
