I have been getting into Esham lately. I never cared for Esham back in the day 'till NATAS WWW.COM came out. I remember Murder Dog gave it the LP of the year. I picked it up and thought it was tight. Tougnes is his best piece of work to date. His other tight shit is:

Closed Casket
Bruce Wayne Gothom City 1987
Detroit Dog Shit
Dead Flowers
Maggot Brain Theory
Bootleg From The Lost Vault (Mortys Theme is classic)

NATAS Doubelievengod
NATAS WWW.COM

I used to be into him when he first came out. Actually the whole state of Michigan, white and black, used to bumb him all the time in the early 90s. In fact early Flint and Saginaw rap was heavy acid rap influenced. But he kinda got played out in '95. When Jake the Flake and Top Authority came out, that was a crucial blow to acid rap. Folks started gettin back into gangster rap. But Detroit niggaz still bump some of his shit. Detroit rap to this day is still has a lot of Acid Rap.

Esham's new album drops tomorrow (Nov.18). Don't sleep on it, should be sicc.

Oh, I'm not an ICP fan (I hate them muthafuckz!) but the good news about Esham's new album being on Psychopathic is ICP is only on like 2 or 3 tracks out of 20 total. When Esham comes out solo, that's exactly what you get. Fuck all that 50+ artist featured on a solo album!
