Eminems New CD, King Mathers Info

some things that need to happen for this to be a good album:
keep g-unit away from it...it would be best to record it while they're overseas on the opposite side of the world. also, the rest of shady's boys like cashis, stat quo, d12, etc need to stay away (exception is obie)
more dre beats and less em beats...em's beats all sound pretty similar to me, and that sound's getting old...unless he comes with something like "renegade" from the blueprint. couple that with better rhymes about real shit instead of ass songs or club songs
and finally...em needs to turn off his motherfuckin radio. fuck all that poppy shit...i was fuckin disappointed when he turned down tech n9ne's song "my world" to do bullshit songs with akon, T.I., whoever. he's gonna go plat a few times no matter what, so he might as well sell some more records by appealling to an underground audience too...get some real collabos

lol, SOMEBODY got a voodoo doll of Eminem laying in their room. And if I saw you in person, I'd straight slap your face for calling Infinite, Slim Shady EP, Slim Shady LP, or Marshall Mathers LP trash. You got a grudge against the guy obviously, and you dont know hip-hop if you're going to call his earlier works trash. But I do agree that at this point in his career- Eminem probably would not have fit well on "My World"
As for "King Mathers". I dont like the title, but fuck it; why not? King Mathers it is.
I agree with the one cat who previously stated that people are gonna be surprised by this album. What people dont take into consideration is the social/economical aspect of Em's life when he cut his first 3 albums (which ultimately got him famous). He came from rock bottom with a hunger to reach the top... and he made it. Unfortunately, after he hit the top every song he turned out was a flop in the eyes of real hip hop fans. Basically, the man had no motivation or inspiration to put into his songs. It happens with a lot of artists, be it rap or rock. Mfkrs get rich and famous and they lose the drive that made them such good musicians.
That being said, I personally believe that the past few years have given Eminem a lot of energy that is reminiscent of his roots, but in the modern day. The shit with his wife, Proof being killed, and hip hop fans like ourselves calling his music official garbage the day after Encore dropped has given him reasons to rap again, and do it good.
Maybe I'll buy a ticket to his show if he has a final tour. I expect this album to shit on every other hip hop album released since January.

i feel obligated to say my piece. i am usually the target of the hate in most of these threads but stayed out of this one on purpose cause being called a hater for no reason gets old after awhile. but oh well...
eminem is most overrated rapper in the history of hip hop. he makes music for 15 year old white girls and his voice is one of the most annoying this on the planet. not one of his albums is listenable all the way through. he gives the term "lyricist" a bad name,i laugh at people that think his lyrics are good. i dont give a fuck how many things he can rhyme with haley and kim,that doesnt make you a lyricist. he makes himself a joke,therefore i take him as a joke,i would never put him in league with any of the emcees now or at any time in history.
