remind you of any chart topping producers? neptunes? timbaland? I mean even sampling producers use things over and over again....kanye's high speed shit.....just blaze and his going up synth.....primo and his same ass fuckin scratches....also think about how many artists come to him saying "I want a beat that sounds like _______" scweez came at traxamillion asking for a track like grillz and look what came out, a damn near replica.....he's established his current sound and thats what the artists and fans are wanting....why should he change?

I'm getting the sense here that no one has actually heard "So Hood", cause the discussion would be very different. this dude isn't talking about how overall EA Ski has a very well defined sound that gets repetetive; he's saying that he seems to have recycled a beat here. listen to the goddam song, i bet its in sicctunes, but how the fuck would i know?

Listen to San Quinn's Hell Yea then listen to Messy's So Hood. Ski sounds like he getting lazy to make slappers.

Am I the only one who hears a HUGE Lil John influence when Ski brings this style?? Drums as well as the synth sounds being used..

He makes good music...end of discussion. The more popular a person gets the more it is possible to see patturns in what they do. Like Keak keeps saying the same shit over and over...Ric Roc pretty much does the exact same tempo...Neptunes,Dre,Kanye,Lil Jon...the list goes on and on. People contribute what they contribute to the game. The two songs sound the same, but maybe the artist ask for that feel. As long as he makes hits--I'm listening.

Ski needs to just drop an album. I'm still waiting for Earthquake. heh.
the earthquake album probably ain't never gonna drop cuz that's when he was on relativity and they had a fallout. then relativity ended up goin outta business. relativity had the rights to earthquake. too bad too cuz the songs i got from that single was pretty tight for what it was back in 96
